Sweet Samosa, aka Sammy, is one of the boys in the litter dubbed the “Box Puppies”. He and his siblings were found in someone's apartment in a plastic soundproof box. We are so thankful they survived this abusive situation.
All of the pups suffered from lack of nutrition and due to lack of movement had some carpal laxity which caused their front legs to be bowed. They are now healthy and strong and ready to find loving families.
After a couple of weeks of R&R, you cannot tell that these puppies have ever had a bad day in their lives. While their legs were originally of concern due to poor nutrition and lack of use from being kept in rubbermaid-style tote containers- they have straightened out substantially and grown strong! While they need to continue to eat the proper food and have plenty of time to run around on high-traction surfaces, they currently require no additional special care and are as easy going as puppies get.

He had some bowing in his leg and limped the first couple days and with plenty of running around you wouldn’t even know he had an issue! Keeping him on surfaces with good traction will help him continue to strengthen his legs. He is not expected to have any lasting issues.
He is so sweet and loving. Sleeps all night in my little enclosure. Bathroom outside u less we do not let him out. He loves to wrestle and play with our dogs, he would benefit tremendously with a family with another dog. Cats are totally fine. He’s great with people. Need chew toys for sure and he loves chasing the tennis balls!
If we have to put him in our gates area he doesn’t like to be alone so he does wine. He loves people and wants to play. Only on the leash once and he doesn’t quite get it, but doesn’t hate it!A little more training will help him learn. He is wonderful!
Sammy will be vaccinated, chipped and neutered as part of his adoption fee. His adoption fee is $495.
