Meet Sharon!! She is a Lab/Collie mix and around 50 pounds. Sharon is beautiful just look at her! When she was first rescued down in SC she was the designated pup who met all the other dogs since she is such a friendly girl. Sharon gets along with everyone (both humans and dogs) she meets and is just the sweetest, she likes to give hugs too! This chick loves to play and has lots of energy she would do amazing in a home thats very active and loves the outdoors. Sharon's ideal home would have a fenced in yard so she can run and play some fetch in. Our staff think she is a spunky, very happy, energetic cutie who would be a great addition to any family. Sharon has SO much love (including kisses) to give and is just looking to find her new family to love. Sharon is currently located at our adoption center in Brewster, NY She is looking for a foster or adopter.

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
