My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Name: Snow

*Age: 2 years old

*Current Weight: 40 lbs

*Rescued from: Louisiana

*Adoption fee: $475

*Health: Up to date on vaccines, Neutered, & microchipped

*Adoption requirements: Adopter must be 25 or older,

Meet Snow!! This sweet boy was found in Louisiana as a puppy in an area where there are a lot of abandoned dogs. Luckily Snow was rescued by SNARR Northeast and has been living up in CT with a wonderul foster family patiently waiting to be adopted.

Snow is a wonderful dog, the perfect mix of playful pup and cuddle bug. He has a blast playing with his foster siblings whether its playing chase, wrestling each other or tug of war. However, he's equally as happy to crawl up right beside you on the couch to snuggle and nap while you Netflix and chill, or will lay next to your desk if you're WFH.

Snow is timid around new people, but is so affectionate and loving to the people he trusts. He deserves a loving, understanding family who will take it slow with him as he adjusts to his new home and life. However, once he's comfortable with you, you're golden and he'll be forever attached to you. Like many pits, he can be a velcro pitty and can lack the understanding of personal space (but who minds when you're that adorable?). His foster mom calls Snow her shadow because he happily spends the day right beside her while she works from home, runs errands (he loves riding in the car), or whatever else the day brings.

Snow is an all around great boy and his foster family loves him, but he deserves to find his forever home and family. He is such a sweetheart and appreciates everything he gets. He listens well and is crate trained. Snow would love a home with other dogs, a yard where he can run around in, and to have one of his humans working from home to keep him company during the day. Could you be the perfect family for Snow???

FAQs -- PLEASE READ ALL BEFORE EMAILING

All adoption fees are non-refundable

If paying by credit card, Venmo, or PayPal there is a set processing fee, generally this fee is under $15 per pet. These processing fees are determined by the form of payment adopters decide to use. By helping with this minimal cost this allows us to save more animals.

Please note that SNARR NE is a volunteer-based organization. While our volunteers will try to respond to you as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the below information about our adoption process before emailing:

LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the puppy's/dog's physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents depending on the situation. *NOTE* We rarely know a dog's exact age, nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. Because we often do not have access to medical records at the time that we are listing for dogs for adoption, there are sometimes discrepancies between what is posted on their profile and what might be listed on a dog's medical records.

SNARR'S ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting a SNARR dog/puppy is to fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/. Once we receive your application, one of our adoption application processors will contact you, review our adoption process with you, and answer any additional questions you may have. **We do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions, but on best fit for a family and most importantly the puppy or dog. **

MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until after your adoption application has been fully processed and approved by one of our adoption processors.

APPLYING ONLINE: If you fill out an online application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device), make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible, and that you receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, that means we did NOT receive your application.
