Meet Dolly, a 43-pound brindle beauty with a heart of gold and an abundance of energy. This amazing girl and her newborn puppies were rescued by SNARR Northeast and given a second chance at a happy life.

Dolly is a smart pup who is crate and house trained, and knows her basic commands. She is working on leash walking and would benefit from ongoing training and exercise. Dolly's favorite pastime is zipping around a yard, splashing in pools, and chasing her favorite ball. She is full of energy and would thrive in an active home with a fenced-in yard to expend all that energy. Dolly is a natural swimmer and loves nothing more than playing in the water.

Despite her tough start in life, Dolly is a happy and positive pup with a silly and joyful personality. She always has a smile on her face and is a joy to be around. The adoption center staff loves her funny antics and is always laughing at her silly behavior.

Dolly is now searching for her forever family who will give her the love and attention she deserves. She would make an excellent exercise buddy and loyal companion. An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
