Arrival story: Family life changes require Simone to relocate to a better-suited home environment.

Personality: Personality: This girl is looking for a special someone to be her one-and-only in life. Well, next to her Lamb Chop toys, that is.

Currently, Miss Simone enjoys two walks a day. Being a Tripod doesn’t slow her down! There is plenty of pep in her step and her mobility is unaffected by the loss of a back limb. Simone loves to cuddle on the couch, rides well in the car, is crate-trained, and boards well. Did we mention that she only likes Lamb Chop toys? We wouldn’t dream of sending her to a new home without them so don’t worry.

Simone is very affectionate with her person and will follow her from room to room. She is quite content when left alone, though. And, while Simone is leary of new-comers to the home, she happily goes to her crate when company visits. Children and their unpredictable movements and loud noises are just too much for Simone so a quieter home life is ideal.

Simone’s life has not been easy (an amputated hind leg due to another dog’s attack) but we feel she'll really shine in an adult-only, only-pet home. Simone is timid around other dogs so she would be more comfortable as an only dog.

Foster or Forever Home: Simone is looking for an adult only home without other pets so she can devote herself fully to you.
