My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jack is a 15-pound, ~11 year old beagle/chihuahua/Pomeranian mix that we adopted in 2021. He was a loving companion to our 16-year-old dog - They played, snuggled, and slept together. After our other dog passed, Jack bonded even more to one of his two people. Fast forward and we are sadly divorcing, and Jack’s world is turned upside down.

This sweet boy needs a proper pack, ideally with at least one dog and one human. He is fantastic with kids, great with most other dogs (he does hump, so dogs that will assert dominance or not care are best), and very respectful of assertive cats. We have never seen a hint of aggression in him. He has the softest fur (like, really!) and lots of energy for his age. He is a great walking buddy, and even paddleboarded with us!

The instability in our life has really stressed Jack out, and while we both love him, we can’t provide him with what he needs any longer. Could your home be the right one for this super cuddly, incredibly loyal, and fun boy?
