My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Grant has been in our adoption program searching for a forever home since January 2022! We have lowered his adoption fee to $125.

Grant is such a good natured guy. He is about 1 year old (3/23/22 estimated DOB), and really is a great dog.

He's about about 58 lbs. and has a fun, happy-go-lucky personality.  He already knows many basics; he is house and kennel trained and uses a dog door independently.  He walks great on a leash and even does well walking with other dogs.  He knows the commands Kennel Up, Sit, and Down, and Paw.  He loves learning and is eager to please, especially if treats are involved.

He is very people oriented and checks in with everyone - he loves meeting new people and may jump up for a hug!  Grant is playful with other dogs, and he loves toys.  He would appreciate another playful dog in his forever home.  After play, he'll settle under foster mom's desk and snooze.  He loves to sit and snuggle with his human in the evenings, and he sleeps through the night in his crate.

We're guessing his breed is German Shepherd, Golden Retriever mix, we just know he's handsome!  He can be a little mouthy sometimes (although he has improved greatly), so Grant may be best suited for a family with older kids, if any. He has not met a cat but we think he'd do OK - he takes correction well.  He would do best with a person or family with dog-owner/training experience.

Grant is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.
