Chicky came to us, scared of her own shadow, we even had to go so far as to carry her from the car to the house, carry her into the backyard to use the bathroom, and she was frozen in fear every moment of the day, until we grabbed a leash when would come alive. So we started walking her and walking her and walking her and taking her to the dog park and getting her out of the house as much as possible she used to be petrified of Brian and now he’s one of her favorite people on the planet. she never barks, she is the most well-behaved dog I’ve ever had in my house, she knows where her bed is. She knows where her sitting spots are, and she never choose anything except a dog toy. She is such a loving, sweetheart, and as long as she’s getting regular walks, she’s quite a happy dog. She is scared of children and loud teenagers, even being in our house since December, that has not changed however, her fear of strangers in general has gotten much better, over the last few weeks she’s now started taking treats from strangers at the dog park.! She is also cat friendly!
Adoption fees:
Adult: 1-6 yrs $400.00
Each of our dogs are fully vaccinated to include Bordetella, DHLPP and Rabies. We deworm and microchip each dog as well as spay or neuter.
Our adoption process includes an initial conversation about the dog to see if the dog is a good match or if another dog could be a more suitable match. We also will complete a home visit. It should be noted that our adoption counselors know the dogs and can best guide any possible adopter with a suitable match.
