Lola didn’t have an easy start in Canada, however she has had plenty of time and opportunity to fully decompress and she’s showing us all her goofy, fun side. She’s ready for a family all her own.
From her foster: Lola has truly come out of her shell in her time with me. This silly, happy, highly driven, wiggly girl is a dog that LOVES affection. Lola has been thriving with structured activity and continuing training. She’s quiet in her crate, and LOVES place – she’ll put herself in place and start snoring. Lola knows her name, sit & lie down, but still requires work on her focus and leash skills in highly stimulating situations. Lola is working on her recall and should not be loose in an unsecured area at this time. Long-line exploration walks have been great for Lola. Mental stimulation, plenty of play, continued training and enrichment will continue to help her keep growing into a delightful companion. Lola would be best suited to a single dog, calm household as she can be dog selective. Through careful management she has been able to socialize with some known dogs.
While in crisis, Lola has a single bite record. Please email us about it – we are happy to discuss privately.
