Dogs- Sure thing!
Cats- Unknown at this time as Dali hasn’t met any cats
Children- 14+ is recommended as he’s a big fella and doesn’t understand his size sometimes
Ideal Home – he’d love a yard he can run in regularly and a plan for his play time and exercise outlet will be very important
Crate & House Trained
Dali’s Adopter- It is important that Dali’s family understands how to set boundaries for him and be committed to Dali’s training. Being confident with Dali only allows Dali’s confidence to grow. Dali is a dog that looks to his human for direction
Dali is a big goofy boy with a puppy soul. He loves to run and play and would love a dog friend. He gets super excited at play time with his people and will jump. Tell him no and he understands and stops. He is a very smart boy and loves learning!! Liver treats will make you the star in his world.
He does not have some of his upper teeth , (we do not know how it happened!) Unfortunately he could have be beaten, or broke from eating anything on the side of highway etc…) He was a very picky eater when he first arrived but now loves his kibble and the routine of scheduled feeding. Liver treats will make you the star in his world. He can be vocal at times on walks. But he’s learning it’s not necessary and is responding well to redirection.
Dali is currently at a Kennel in Pembroke as he was not a fit with the family who adopted him. Dali has a protective nature. It is important to remember dogs don’t live in the past they live in the right now and certain behaviors happen to express feeling. Dali is adjusting extremely well and we are confident with the right person or family Dali has a very bright future ahead of him.
