My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi - My name is Edguardo! You can call me Ed, Eddie, CAT!, Sir, and Kit-ten. (I also will respond to Kitteh sometimes too. What can I say? I'm a cat.) I am a very sweet, talkative boy who is really good at Litter Box! ( I love my litter box.)
You can pick me up and squeeeeze me for about 17.2 seconds - then I'll let you know I want to get down. A few seconds later I'll come back and let you smoosh my tennis ball head.

If you give me spankies I'll get up on my back tippy toes and do a little cha-cha. I will sleep at the end of my foster lady's bed sometimes but I will not let her grab me and hold me like a teddy bear for snuggles; I will, however, let her trim my nails - now THAT'S a Good Boy!

I've found a few perches around the house where I do Neighborhood Watch or just keep an eye on Foster Lady's stuff.
My foster mom would really like to adopt me BUT the dog isn't super into it. We're fine together but it's not a love connection, and I get it - she was there first. I think we'd play together if we had more room but the foster pad is pretty small.

I have met the next door cat - he's super cool and we'd totally hang except for he lives in 112 and I'm staying in 114 and neither of us has thumbs. If you'd like to adopt a medium sized, approx 1.5 year old, neutered male - I'm your guy! Fill out an ap at SoulDog.org and let's meet.

This animal is in a foster home. If you would like to meet this animal, go to www.souldog.org to fill out an adoption application. When submitting your adoption application make sure to submit a good clear picture of your living room, kitchen, and yard. If you rent, you must provide proof animals are allowed. We will contact references. Once the application is reviewed our adoptions coordinator will send your information to the foster to set up a meet and greet.

We ask that all members of the household come for a meet and greet to ensure there are no personality clashes. If you have other dogs in the home and are meeting a dog you must bring them for the meet and greet. Filling out an adoption application does not mean you will be adopting the animal. Doing a meet and greet with one of our animals does not guarantee you are adopting the animal. We will select the family we feel is the best choice for that animal after screening and meeting applicants.

More about this rescue

Soul Dog is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue organization founded with the mission to spay/neuter and protect animals. We are currently a small group of committed volunteers making a difference in the life of one animal at a time. As an all volunteer administration, all donations made to Soul Dog go directly to improving the health of the pets that share our lives.

Soul Dog is proactive in animal welfare advancing the need for spaying and neutering our pets to reduce overpopulation. We travel to rural communities on Native American reservations, where spaying and neutering will only happen if it is nearly free or very convenient. Soul Dog works with volunteer veterinarians to provide the spaying and neutering service at no cost to the public. Donations are used to defray the costs associated with medications, supplies, and the operating cost for clinics.
