Meet Lassie! Lassie is a beautiful 1 year old sable merle male collie. He is neutered and up to date on his vaccines. He came to us because he was fighting with one of his doggie siblings. Because of this, we think he would be best in a home with an experienced dog owner and either have a submissive doggie playmate, or live as the only dog in household. He is very friendly with people but he doesn’t seem to like little dogs, so for this reason we don’t think he should live in a home with cats either (but he has not actually been tested around cats). He is a very sweet boy and since he’s a young collie, still quite active. He will need either a large yard to run and play in, or have an owner who likes to go for long walks or runs. We wouldn’t recommend taking this guy to dog parks because we don’t know which dogs he will get along with, and which he won’t. Please let us know if you are interested in adopting Lassie!
