Jicama was rescued early 2022 along with her kittens Rutabaga, Parsnip, and Turnip who have all found their furrever homes. It’s Jicama’s turn now!
Jicama loves to be around you whether you are playing with her or giving her love. She does really well with other cats as well, so we can see her peacefully coexisting and enjoying kitty company. She is a sweet cat who has a love of love to share and wants to be loved back. Spend a little time with her and she'll go belly up and make air biscuits.
She is a young cat herself and ready for a home that can help her build confidence as she can still get startled with loud noises or fast movements. Jicama is a big foodie and that’s a great way to bond with her. Mealtime and snacks are the most exciting part of the day. Next comes anything she can chase like a wand toy! She chirps once it’s caught because she wants the playtime to keep going. Neck & chin scratches, laying in the window, a comfy bed, and all types of food and treats, speak directly to Jicama's heart. She’s a baby herself and wants to enjoy all the indoor life has to offer.
This sweet gal came to us with severe dental disease which required full-mouth extractions. Stomatitis is no joke! Happy to say that she’s recovered beautifully though she will heavily drool when she is happy during snuggle or playtime. We think it's pretty cute and on the plus side, she won't need any dental care in the future.
Do you have a quiet home and the pet experience to help Jicama’s confidence grow? Email our team if you are interested in adopting her.
