Ladybird is a sweet yet, true to her breed, stubborn girl. She is very intelligent and did fantastic in her puppy course. Due to family medical issues we haven't gotten the chance to enroll her in obedience training. She needs a fenced in back yard and a family with the time to exercise her daily. She is housetrained and crate trained, however we haven't crated her much lately because she is so well behaved.
She can be a bit shy when meeting new people in our home but she gets over her shyness quickly to both adults and children. There are younger and older children in her household. She will chase a cat if they run but she gets along with our cats and they generally seek her companionship. She has a high prey drive so poultry and waterfowl have to be secured in her presence. She is obsessed with deer and moles. I've never seen her acknowledge the cattle across the road so I'm unsure about her interest in livestock.
It is of no fault of her own that we are looking to rehome her.
