- Due to factors beyond our control, transport costs for these pups were much higher than what we have been accustomed to - costs for health certificates and medical + transport for each dog with no allowances for shared crates were $335 per dog. With these factors taken into account, as well as the care needs for these particular pups, we need to request a donation above our normal request. We are asking for a donation of $850 from each adopter. The same $600 will be used to support our program and the additional $250 will be used toward the cost of transport. We appreciate the understanding of our potential adopters. Please keep this in mind prior to applying.

- ONE application per household. We will only consider your family for one of our available puppies so please apply for only one.

Name: Welsh
Breed: Havanese x Bichon Frise mix
Age: 10 weeks
Gender: female

Home Recommendation: Welsh is very young and is looking for an home who is home more often than not to spend time playing and training her. We'd prefer she go into a home with another adult dog to show her the ropes.

Personality: The best things come in small packages and Welsh is here to prove it! She is frisky and so sweet! She loves to snuggle and give puppy kisses! She enjoys playing with toys and will chase her tail.

Kids: Due to her small size, 10+

Dogs: Yes

Cats: Yes

Crate Trained: working on it

House Trained: working on it

Training: As she is very young, her forever home must be experienced and ready to put her through training so she can become the well-behaved adult we know she can be!

Why did she come to WISE? Welsh was rejected by a pet shop and was to be returned to the mill where she was destined to be destroyed. WISE wasn't going to let that happen and took her into our program.
