My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Missy, a 6yr old indoor feline with a gray coat and seafoam eyes. She has a stoic nature and a gentle heart and will be a loyal and devoted companion to the fortunate individual who welcomes her into their life.

Missy has behavioral issues that stem from her anxiety triggered by our Persian cat when we moved in together two years ago. Prior to that, Missy lived happily with our third cat; they were paired as kittens in a shelter. To ensure their safety, Missy and the Persian are always kept apart. In hopes that they might live peacefully, we have been working with a professional behaviorist to find Missy the right medications and facilitate behavioral integration exercises, but have been unsuccessful after 2+ years.

We are now seeking a peaceful and loving forever home for Missy, where she can be herself. Given her preference for quieter surroundings, her ideal home would be one without any other furry companions or small children.
