My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Flossie!

Quick Facts:
Breed: Black Lab
Age: 12 years young
Size: 80lbs

Sweet Flossie found herself as a stray wondering the streets instead of in a home enjoying her golden years. She was turned into animal control. Because of her age and issues with her back legs, the shelter planned to euthanize her. But luckily we were notified about her and she came into the rescue instead.

Flossie doesn’t have the perfect body. Her back legs are weak so she has a little trouble squatting. She’s potty trained but has the occasional accident, mostly while she’s sleeping. But she makes up for that with her perfect personality. Flossie is a huge lover of food & treats. She also is still an avid fan of playing catch with a good ol' tennis ball.

Flossie loves to be in the presence of other dogs. She can make friends with them all, any age shape or size. She hasn’t met any kids or cats yet. She’s the perfect companion for watching Netflix and afternoon naps. Or even hanging out next to you in the backyard sunbathing and soaking up the smell of the local squirrels.

She hasn’t spent much time in a crate but does well with baby gates if needed. She’s a typical sweet social lab with plenty of love left to give.
