Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dash is a 9 month old Australian Cattle Dog. He was in an overcrowded shelter where he came in as a stray, and it was clear he is an incredibly kind dog who deserved a chance.
He is super snuggly, and lets us mess with him and pet him and give him kisses. I do not fear for our safety with him. He does, however, seem to have some anxiety with other dogs, and will lunge at them. We think this could be fixed with some serious time and patience. As we have small children, a senior dog, a cat, and full time jobs, this is an issue for us, and also why we are looking to rehome him. He deserves a place to be himself and come to understand he is safe in all places and situations.
We think he’d do best in a single person or couple home with no other pets, but again, he may just need some time to understand he’s safe around domesticated animals. He would probably also do well in a home with older kids. He would also make an incredible ranch dog.He is very smart and has already learned a lot.
