Novi is seeking her very own home. She is with Recycled Best Friends, Inc, a 501c smaller breed rescue in Knoxville TN
Novi Paisley is ~4 years young, around 25 lbs and a beautiful girl. More outgoing than her “sister” Missy but still scarred by the life used only as a profit producing machine for her original human
After an initial slow introduction she has done well with visiting dogs and the house dogs, about a day later they were all good to go! She would initially give a bit of a grumble, all talk it seems, when feeling afraid. She can be a bit bossy lol.
NP can be a bit skittish to any harsh reprimands/loud voices. Even if it’s not towards her. She is slowly being exposed to so much a household has to offer by her wonderful fosters, Tonya and family. Just see the photos below.
NP’s adopting family would ideally have other calm dogs or no dogs and she’d be equally OK. She is very much a magnet to her people. Probably no young kids, she never was exposed to their energy and at this early time doesn’t really like anything that rambunctious. Until now she only lived the life of a commodity, an socialized breeder.
NP comes when called, she accidentally got out about a week ago. Foster mom called her name and she came running. House training going great, foster has a doggy door- but she’ll scratch on it if it’s closed
NP is learning house training but may initially take advantage of a blanket or towel, being recently spayed it takes time for inflammation and hormones to settle. She is doing much much better now.
Novi Paisley is also healing from her dental and she had a bit of an infected uterus. Paisley came to us healing from a significant front leg skin inner leg injury that has left a fresh scar. She is around 26 lbs, 4-5 years old.
We are hoping for an experienced breeder dog or shy dog adopter, boston knowledge a plus. A fenced yard ideal and the ability to give her time to grow at her pace in an understanding environment.
NOVI is located in Knoxville TN. We will consider a distance to a fitting home with an applicant that will come meet her.
