Meet Toshi!

In early April of 2021 Toshi's foster parents found her - she was a pregnant, dirty street cat that had made a home on the front porch for the better part of 6 months. She was sweet from the beginning, came running when she'd hear the apartment keys, was never hostile towards humans and always demanded belly rubs. A true street sweetie. After her spa day, Toshi was brought inside to try and give her a better life!

Toshi's foster parents have an older male cat, and kept them separate for about a month, letting them get used to each others scent under doors and on swapped toys and blankets. Despite the appropriate introduction, Toshi became a different cat when she saw the other cat, and unfortunately, it is best that Toshi be the only pet in the home.

It was then that Tōshi went to live at her foster mom's parents' apartment for the following year or so, where she THRIVED as a solo pet. This girl became so dang spoiled and sweet and cuddly and we loved to see it. She is such a different cat when she is in an environment that doesn't have other animals in it.

Due to some unforeseen circumstances, Toshi is back with her original fosters (kept separate from the resident cat) and looking for a home to call her own; a loving home that is open to only having ONE pet (cat) that will love her as deeply as her fosters do.
