My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You could live your own Dodo video with Oran and star as his knight/knightess (okay, we made that word up) in shining armor. Oran has led a tough life prior to our saving him and we simply can’t imagine the life he lived. It was probably a struggle for survival on the streets with all the rips and tears on his jagged ears you can see. He’s even got a foot that looks forked as if he’s missing a toe.

But this sweet guy is so forgiving. He's doing so much better now and he is ready to go find that forever home. We get that you'll probably not ride up on a dark horse, nor wear heavy armor. But, we'll take a metal car and a carrier as you swoop in to save him. After two dentals and his neuter, he’s ended up being a very special kitty that was a train wreck when we pulled this senior fella off the rescue list. But he’s good now.

Oran is FIV+ which means he is immunocompromised and should be an only kitty in his new home. Do you have a special place in your heart to continue to give him the love that we have? Oran is about 9 years old as as of February 2023.

Currently in a foster home, you can set up a day to come meet this kitty (on Saturdays during adoption event hours). Please give us at least a week's notice via  wtfcatapps@gmail.com  or  text  (707) 258-2287 for more information. Thank you!

Cats/kittens come spayed/neutered, microchipped and vaccinated with an adoption fee/donation to Whiskers, Tails and Ferals in Napa, CA. See more information or download an application at http://whiskerstailsandferals.org/. None of our cats are purebred, unless specifically noted in the description.

More about this rescue

Whiskers, Tails and Ferals is a network of volunteers and foster families caring for dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens who have been abandoned, are feral, or are facing the threat of being euthanized at an animal shelter.
All dogs and cats that come into our program are spayed or neutered. Felines are FeLV and possibly FIV, vaccinated, wormed (as needed) and micro-chipped.
All sick animals are immediately put under the care and supervision of a Napa veterinarian and Whiskers, Tails and Ferals pays for their medications.
The cats and kittens that are not able to be tamed, are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and returned to their colonies where colony guardians continue to feed and care for them.
