My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Delia had a family and we can only assume they abandoned her. She was found in a mall parking lot and she was a complete mess. Her skin was so bad with secondary infections that our vet could not even tell if she was spayed already as well as she was starved, skin and bones. She has come a long way in healing and weighs about 60 pounds now. She can be a bit protective of her food but we just fee her in her crate and their are no issues. Why would someone one day love their animal and the next cast her aside...she did not deserve that and she deserves a home of her own. She gets along with other dogs but is a bit reserved with them at first. She is crate trained and house broke and is an exceptional girl.

She loves her toys, balls, stuffed animals and ropes and loves to run around with them. She is a bit of homebody and really just enjoys chilling with her peeps.

She is prone to the occasional skin irritation due to the neglect and having to have lived on the streets but it is easily treatable. She LOVES her ears rubbed and will moan and lean into your hands as you massage them.

ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED

Roxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Each dog comes spay/neutered (fixed), up to date on vaccinations and rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice. They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $150.00.

Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.
