My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Liberty was found as a stray with a severely embedded collar. Finally in the hands of animal caregivers who could help her heal, she was appropriately named Liberty. Liberty's severely embedded collar required 6-12 months to heal completely. Now she is experiencing life as a dog should! She lives in the house at her foster home and enjoys a lot of play time with her canine friends in the backyard. Liberty is still cautious around people but is warming up to her foster mom. Liberty will need a patient hand from someone who is experienced at working with fearful dogs. She is in a routine at her foster home and comes into the house willingly. She loves her crate as her "safe spot." Her foster mom is enjoying watching Liberty's personality emerge as she experiences life off a chain. Liberty needs an owner who will continue to work with her to gain her trust.
