Sending Pinky away is a very difficult decision. My husband had her since she was a puppy 10 years ago. She has always been this gentle, caring, and loving puppy to us. When our daughter was one year old, she tested positive for dog allergy. Since then, Pinky has been locked up in the den most of the day. I feel very bad for both my daughter and Pinky. Five months ago, two months before our son was born, my husband passed away in a car accident. With two small children who have skin issues, I can barely spend any time with Pinky. It is better for her to have a new home.
Pinky has allergy to a lot of things outdoors, so she needs to be kept indoors all the time. We joked that she's basically a cat. On the brighter side, she doesn't need to be walked. She's trained to pee and poop in her crate on the wee wee pad. She's very well behaving. Since she can't go outside and she's old, I want to find an experienced family with no other dog, who would love her till her last day.
