My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Duke is estimated to be about a year old and is believed to have been dumped in Indianapolis in late 2022 before being found in early 2023. Duke is the sweetest dog and is always ready to party! He can be a little nervous at first but warms up very quickly. He wants so badly to be a good boy for you and your best friend! He is super affectionate and loves giving kisses. He does jump and is VERY energetic, so he will need some training to be around smaller kids but does well with them temperament wise. He loves cats (a little too much) and adores other dogs but does tend to play a little rough. Duke’s adoption fee is $250.00.

Our primary media to find our adoptable animals is our Facebook page. It lists a short bio and usually a phone number to contact the foster home directly. We also do public adoption events on a regular basis at our PetSmart home-base in Plainfield, IN. We, occasionally, attend public family events and take animals there when permitted.

More about this rescue

Founded in January 2016, Creekside Animal Rescue provides shelter & care for homeless animals until they are adopted into permanent homes. This is done through a network of loving, committed foster homes spread out in multiple counties. The animals receive a personal commitment from Creekside Animal Rescue when accepted into the rescue family, that they will all ways have a place to call home and never spend the remainder of their days in a shelter ... we take our animals back at any point an adopter can no longer care for the animal.
