My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jessie is a high energy girl who would love to be your adventure buddy! She loves to be with her people and is good with other dogs. She is an intelligent girl and learns quickly. She will need a yard with at least a 6 foot fence and preferably not chain link, as she can climb! She would make a great pet for and active family.

Additional adoption info

We start with a phone interview to gather information to determine if initially it would be a good fit. We then have an application to be completed and in some circumstances a home visit.

Our pets are available to meet by appointment only by calling or texting our adoption coordinator Karyn at 435-640-4752, or via email at karyn@plfu.org.

More about this rescue

Paws for Life Utah is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization that is dedicated to helping homeless dogs, cats and other "at risk" animals from municipal shelters find new, forever homes. We are a no-kill advocate, partnering with the Heber valley animal shelter, making them no-kill in 2013. Since then, we have expanded our reach throughout the state of Utah to rescue animals at risk. Our vision for the future is a "no kill" nation.
