My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dobby is approximately 6-8 months old and very friendly. She was found as a stray and was placed into a foster home with other dogs. She loves to play with them and her fosters kids and is very social. She is shy when she first meets new people but takes no time to warm up. She is submissive initially with other dogs when she meets them and is eager to please her family. She has been spayed, up to date on vaccines, and micro-chipped as well as being put on heartworm and flea prevention. If you would like more info please email

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption fee is $450 to fly your dog to the nearest airport that (1) has a direct flight from Houston, TX and (2) can accommodate the size travel crate your dog would fly in. If there is no direct flight, then we do have to schedule flights with layovers. We only use United Airlines because of their PetSafe Program. They are the only airline equipped to fly dogs in year-round weather conditions. The dogs get the same air and heat as in the passenger cabin.

More about this rescue

We rescue dogs from the streets of Houston, TX, vet them, recuperate them from health problems, bring them to full health and then work very hard to get them adopted out-of-state. Houston, TX has over ONE MILLION stray dogs. Thousands of perfectly healthy dogs, along with sick and dying dogs that are picked up, are euthanized every single day. Houston, TX is saturated with dogs. Everyone who WANTS a dog HAS a dog. We can only save lives by getting dogs out of our region. We have found the very best adopters in the Northeast and Northwest U. S. and Canada.
