Kira is the perfect lap dog even though she may not fit completely on your lap! She's amazingly affectionate. She doesn't bark at other dogs but prefers to be an only dog. She is playful and fetch is her favorite game! She walks well on a leash and knows commands (sit, stay, paw, and retrieve). She is a well-behaved dog and crate trained. She is located in Texas, and we have transports available every few weeks. She is currently in a loving foster home. Interview
Since we are in Texas we conduct a phone interview.

Approve Application
Once application is approved and everyone feels this is a perfect fit then we proceed with paying adoption fees so transport can be arranged
Additional adoption info
Our adopters sign an adoption contract. Adoption Fee: $400- $600 depending on age and breed. If flying there is an estimated $100 crate fee depending on size of crate. This covers all of the medical costs, microchipping, health certificate for the transport, and ground transport costs to the PNW. We also do air transport for puppies during ideal weather conditions. Puppies under 12 weeks are required to spay or neutered at the adopter's expense within 4-6 months of age and adopter is required to show proof. It is highly recommended puppies and adopter attend puppy classes and continue their education with adult obence at 6 months of age. Adopters are asked to contact the rescue if any concerns or advice and keep in contact through email or text messages. If the adoption doesn't workout we ask the adopter to foster until a new adopter is found.
We have a rescue contact in Tacoma if any problems arise and to do home checks.
