Baby Fern: Rescued From Certain Death

When Baby Fern was rescued from the street, she thought her long, lonely ordeal was finally over.

But a series of mishaps landed her at a shelter where pits and pit-mixes aren’t even given a chance! And this sweet, gentle, loving little girl was given a death sentence—only because she’s part pit!

Fern needed a guardian angel—and that’s just what she got! Her rescuers moved heaven and earth to liberate her. And, at the very last minute, Fern’s death sentence was transformed into a promise of a long, happy life!

Fern seems to know how close she came! And now, in the loving arms of her foster mom, she’s finally starting to believe that she really is safe. Still timid and uncertain, her tail (once plastered under her tummy) now has a reason to wag!

Will you be the one to hold this sweet girl in your arms and make her believe that her life has just begun?

-Still timid at first, but quickly warms up
