My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chick is a yellow lab (confirmed by dog DNA test) that we found back in May in Marlin, TX as we were passing through on a road trip. She was found outside of “The Chicken Place” hence her name and was begging for food. She was very malnourished with fleas, gastrointestinal worms, and double ear infections. We brought her home, had everything treated by our vet, and have had her ever since. She is fully vaccinated and on simparica trio for flea, tick, and heart worm prevention. She is spayed as well. She does great with other dogs, even with our small dog barking, nipping, and growling at her she has never once shown aggression. She has not been around children, so this is not known. She is kennel trained and actually prefers to be indoors in her kennel or roaming about. She does not like to go outside, but enjoys it if she has another dog to play with. She’s is very sweet, but a young lab with energy. She does well on morning runs on the leash and knows the commands “no” and “sit”.
