My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Teddy is a 1-2 year old pit mix who is very friendly with people and other dogs. He is a sweet boy of about 60 lbs. that loves chewing on toys, bones, and a good tennis ball. He has a lot of energy and makes a good running buddy. The dog park is his favorite activity! Teddy is a good student and a quick learner. He knows sit, shake, up, lay down, and is great with the nose target game. He loves a good cuddle and nap session. Teddy would make the perfect addition to a loving home.

See more info about Teddy on his Instagram page!                   https://www.instagram.com/teddythefoster/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y%3D

If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at www.dfwrescueme.org/adopt.  Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter.

Teddy is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.

More about this rescue

Our goal is to save dogs at the local shelters in the Dallas \ Fort Worth Metroplex from euthanasia and adopt them to the public. We spay / neuter these dogs as well as provide all necessary medical care. We also educate the public about responsible pet ownership. We love dogs and our goal is to reduce / eliminate euthanisias being done in this area by shelters due to overcrowding.
