My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hayden is estimated to be about 5-8 yrs old. We were told he’s around 5 and our vet thought closer to 8! His age doesn’t slow him down, he’s a sprite little pup who enjoys playing with his little fur friends at his foster home. He loves little kids and big kids, he doesn’t care, as long as he’s got a lap to snuggle in and someone to play with him. When Hayden came to us we could tell he wasn’t well cared for. His teeth were in pretty bad shape and he had a terrible cough. We learned that he has a heart murmur that has gone untreated probably for many years. He’s been on medication now for the last few months and he’s doing fantastic! He’s a happy guy with lots of love to share with a special family. His teeth are sparkly clean and has no dental issues! He will live a long and healthy life as long as he continues with his monthly heart medication and has checkups every 6 months. He is housebroken, however he does wear a belly band for those “just in case moments”. Hayden enjoys having a fenced yard to go outside and will absolutely love having another dog friend to play with. He’d be okay as an only dog as long as someone is around to give him attention and love. If you can give Hayden the love and care he needs, he will pay you back tenfold with his love!!

If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application at www.luckychancerescue.com/adoption-application. Filling out an application does not commit you to adoption. It means a foster will call you to talk about the dog set up a meet and greet if interested .  We are not able to respond to email inquiries.
