Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Finn is a lover. He is a sweet and gentle dog. He is 4 years old, 26 pounds, and he is an excellent listener. I taught him several tricks, and he is a fast learner. He is very receptive to his humans. He loves to greet people on the street.
Finn's one and only struggle in life is his fear of being in vehicles. As soon as he figures out a car ride is imminent, he begins to shake and starts to pant. Finn doesn't bark or howl, and he doesn't get car sick. He will lay down in his crate and not fuss. But he will not relax until the trip is over. If you have experience training dogs, you may be able to work with him on this. I've worked with Finn smaller fears. He does great with safe, patient exposure and treats.
Finn will be the most comfortable in a home where he does not need to make many car trips. I live alone and I am on the road all the time now. Finn is house trained and behaves exceptionally well when I am away, but he would be much more happy in a home where he wasn't alone.
