Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kia was left to fend for herself in the cold, freezing elements in Medina, Ohio & ran the streets for weeks trying to survive; we are aware she was out running for at least 4 weeks on her own.& after (3) weeks of tracking her Remi's was finally able to safely trap her. Kia was severely emaciated when she came into our care but with time & love she has gained weight and feels so much better thanks to her foster family! Kia is in a foster home with (3) other Danes & has turned out to be an awesome girl who is full of gratitude and love. She is large and doesn't know her true size, but what Dane does! She is working on her manners and just needs a home that will continue to set gentle, consistent boundaries. She can be shy when first meeting new people but opens up pretty quickly. She will require a fenced-in yard and a home with no small children, only because she will knock them down. She loves to do zoomies when she gets out of her crate & she loves her toys. She is housetrained & crate trained. She will do best in a home with another dog who can continue to help her gain confidence. Dane experience is a must. If you are interested in learning more about Kia and would like an application, please email remispetrecovery@gmail.com. Serious inquiries only!
She will be spayed and have her gastropexy Surgery on March 1st and after about ten days of recovery will be ready for her forever home!
