My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miss Independent! I mean Miss Bella!

She's a girl who knows exactly what she wants, and always has been. Sometimes you'll find her splish splashing about by the kitchen sink as you do dishes. A cat who loves water? Who would've thought?!?! Although she won't be lending her hand in chores, she makes for great company as you do laundry. Her foster says she can be pet and picked up, but it doesn't seem to be her favorite activities.

We love a girl with a good appetite! Her foster recently introduced her to a raw diet and since then Bella has become food motivated! I mean hey can you blame the girl, she's getting as close to nature as you can get.

She would make a great companion to another young cat, but they have to be male. She's not really one of the girls. Her likes include sunny days, gardening, and seasonal bird watching. Hey was that a red cardinal!

More about this rescue

Puppy Kitty NYC was founded in the Fall of 2014. As of July 2018, we are an official 501(c)(3) organization. We focus on three aspects: First, finding homes for abandoned or friendly street cats and kittens. Secondly, attempting to control animal overpopulation by spaying and neutering feral cats and helping the sick and injured. Thirdly, fostering is a must.
