My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miku and Viti are a bonded pair and they need to be adopted together. They are both very smart, curious, playful, and expressive. They love to be near their human, and will follow you to the bathroom so you’re never out of sight. They are a perfect blend of independent and affectionate.

Miku is the braver of the two, and Viti follows her lead. She really loves food and has discerning taste. Her favorite pastimes include chasing a bouncy wine cork down the hallway and batting around a feather wand toy. She also loves to cuddle next to you, and will sleep on your legs while you watch Netflix. She is a sweet and gentle soul, but will also playfully attack your feet or nibble on your arm to get you out of bed in the morning.

Viti is more shy and enjoys observing new people from a distance. He will slowly approach and engage once Miku has proven that all is safe. You will need to earn his trust before he will allow you to get close to him or pet him, but once you have forged a bond, he will show you his love for you. He will even compete with Miku for your attention. He is strong and agile and has been known to leap onto tall cabinets and fly after toys.

Both Miku and Viti love it when you baby talk to them and are great listeners in return. Their personalities are distinct and energetic, and they are sure to be your best friends for years to come.

More about this rescue

Puppy Kitty NYC was founded in the Fall of 2014. As of July 2018, we are an official 501(c)(3) organization. We focus on three aspects: First, finding homes for abandoned or friendly street cats and kittens. Secondly, attempting to control animal overpopulation by spaying and neutering feral cats and helping the sick and injured. Thirdly, fostering is a must.
