Our house has a third cat Ollie, recently three years old and he has been submissive to their seniority and they have been unbothered with him until Rory recently decided he no longer likes Ollie. Ollie has a few cubby holes and Rory does not like to see him leave those. It made everyone stressed. Despite 7 months on behavior efforts our vet said the very best option is for them to be split. In a household of 5 opinions and three of them children it was decided Ollie would remain and where Rory goes Poppy goes. Outside of this bullying behavior Rory is really a nice cat (poppy is alpha funnily enough). They should be the only felines in the home.
