My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Cooper. I’m 60lbs and around 4ish years old. Oh and I am a really good boy! I used to live on a chain in a backyard in Flint. It was a really horrible life. I didn’t get fed often and never had any water. Strays would come into the yard and attack me and my owner would never treat my wounds. One day I got saved by these super nice people that would come and check on me. Now I live in a house and have my very own bed! I get breakfast AND dinner every single day and ALWAYS have fresh water! I even get treats and toys! But my favorite thing is just being loved and endless belly rubs!
I get to take naps and go for walkies and chew on bones. I mean, it’s a pretty easy gig I even learned that not all dogs are mean and after slow intros, I now get to hang out with my 3 foster siblings! They are nice to me and when they are too much I just go find a quiet place to nap.
My foster mom says I’m perfect. I’m really chill. I walk really good on a leash. I recall like a pro, sit perfectly, and lie down. She also said I’m lazy but I don’t know what lazy means…prolly something good cuz she thinks I’m super cool. My favorite things are snuggling and when my foster mom gives me pets. I never got pets before.
I’m crate trained, neutered, HW negative, UTD, not cat or kid tested, and ready to find my forever family!
