My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Honey is all love. She loves people, kids, toys and tug of war! She knows “sit” and “down”. She is high energy and needs a home where she can get plenty of exercise. Honey needs to be the only dog as she very much wants to be “Queen of the House”!

OUR STORY

A loving haven for our furry friends.

Donte's Den is the realization of a long-time dream of Founder Marsha Panuce and her late husband Don. Named for the couple's beloved standard Schnauzer, Donte, Donte's Den has been thoughtfully designed to be a continuation of home for canines who need it.

HOW WE CARE

At Donte's Den, all dogs are top dogs. Our programs cover a wide range of services for dogs who, for one reason or another, can no longer live at home.

Adoption
Finding homes for dogs who no longer have anyone to care for them.

Boarding
A home away from home for your dog or cat while you're away!

Pet Trust
Caring for dogs whose owners are no longer with them.

Military Boarding
A loving home until their owners return from deployment.

Extended Care
Caring for dogs whose owners are sick or injured.

We have a full state of the art hospital on site to meet all of our dogs medical needs. All of our dogs are kept in large dens with no bars. Also on site the dogs have an in ground pool. All our volunteers enjoy walking our dogs down our half mile pine forest trail.
