My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Oreo aka Captain Bobby!!

Oreo aka Captain Bobby is a recent addition to the Animal House Sanctuary Family. Once we have gotten to know Oreo aka Captain Bobby a little better, we will share more details. Getting to know Oreo aka Captain Bobby is going to be a great experience for us!!

Meet Oreo, or as we call him Captain Bobby. Captain currently weights 23-pound, at 4-month-old, and believed to be a blend of Jack Russle, hound chihuahua, Dashund terrier mix. He is the sweetest smartest most gentlest puppy ever. He asks to be snuggled with. He is just adorable!! And his gentle personality is just beautiful.

Captain is outgoing playful happy go lucky and always eager to please and happy to meet and make friends with everyone and anyone. Very smart too. He is crate and house-trained for the most part. He also walks great on a leash. Captain is amazing with dogs, cats, and small critters and bird flocks as well as all humans including children. He understands boundries and correction given by all the animal residents at the sanctuary. He is a follower and needs a playful balance buddy in the home. A fenced in yard is preferred.

We believe training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues that arise, need to be addressed and/or rewarded. Understanding that continued training is a lifetime commitment, is very important.
Out-of-state adopters are welcome at the adopter's expense. Meet & Greets are required before proceeding with an adoption. We DO NOT ship any of our pets.
