My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


Joey is 5 years old. He comes from a cattery in Wisconsin but the breeder does not take returns.
Joey is extremely affectionate and follows you around. He is a constant purring machine and likes to lick his people.
He is fine with dogs, even large ones. Not sure about cats, he has been the only cat in the family.
I have had him his whole life.
I do have his papers.

I have been diagnosed with advanced osteoporosis, so I have to be very careful about pets underfoot due to possible fractures.

Selkirk Rex are one of the friendliest breeds and Joey is no exception. He has a sweet face and an even sweeter disposition.
I am desperate to find him a happy home and not be sent to a kill shelter.

I am Canadian and have been here about 3 years and know no-one that can take him.
