My husband and I are currently fostering a puppy who is in need of a home. She came to us from a situation where she was unwanted because of her energy level, but she is a sweet smart girl.
Lady was born Dec 16th and therefore is about 10 weeks old. Her mother was an Irish Setter and Poodle mix, while her father was a Blue Heeler (Australian Cattledog). She is still small weighing approximately 10-12lbs.
She is very energetic, but has been doing well in her basic training. She has learned sit, come, to walk on the leash, and is potty/bell trained. She is also making great progress on down and crate. She gets along well with dogs, and has had positive though minimal interaction with cats.
The key to a good home for this little girl would be lots of exercise and regular interaction. Someone with knowledge of basic puppy training would be a plus to help thru her still teething. She is always ready to play, enjoys interaction with people, and even loves to cuddle once tuckered out.
