My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi I'm Dr. Pepper because the team member who named me has a favorite soda. Most people call me Doc or Pepp. I look down on a lot of dogs because I'm super tall!! I'm happy to roll over to make dogs feel more comfortable. I just want to play and make everyone happy. I try to get along with everyone and if someone else barks at me I make myself super small and even hide under chairs. I hear I'm bouncy but I don't know why anyone cares, I try to bounce around like Tigger without touching them. If they stop moving I turn around, face out, and sit on their feet or collapse at their feet if they sit down. In the beginning I wouldn't go out in the fenced yard because I was afraid I would be left out there alone again forever. Then I found out that the yard is safe, my people don't go away, and there are lots of dogs to run with me. I'm more confident now. The person who gave me the wacky hair said they found me and took me to a kill shelter. Don't worry, I'm having lots of fun now but I really wish I could find a family of my own. I'd like another dog to play with me. Someone cut off all my hair, except my head, which made other dogs think I was a black lion. It was hard to make other dogs trust me at first but then I got a better hair cut and now everyone loves me. I eat a lot of food and have a lot of energy. I am a very tall boy with a long tail and curly black hair. Someone shaved my tail and it's still growing out. My hair grows pretty fast though and doesn't shed.
