My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Jiji. I originally came to SBACC as a two-month-old kitten and was adopted about two months later.  My adopters were a young couple with one other cat.  The other cat and I were OK together but never became buddies.  Then a new baby arrived and it just didn’t go well.  My Mom and Dad tried hard to make it work but finally decided to bring me back to SBACC. I was really scared and very unhappy and had a hard time trusting new people but I’m finally starting to adjust.  I’m a big fluffy girl with soft black fur and a white triangle on my chest. I’m sassy and smart and can be lovable once I get to know you. I enjoy being petted and brushed if you do it very gently.  My favorites are neck, cheek, and chest scratches.  I like when people talk to me softly or even when they sing. Sometimes I will talk back. I’m a big girl but I have a tiny little meow.  I enjoy the laser and other toys.  I think I would do best in a quiet home without any little children.
