I found Ferdinand at a kill shelter in rural Alabama. He was on the critical list for euthanasia due to overcrowding at this specific shelter. When I showed up, he did not have much time on his clock. I adopted him to give him more time to find a forever family and I am so glad that I did. He has a very gentle demeanor about him and very calm disposition. He loves cats and dogs, and more importantly he loves children. He is currently living in a household with small children, one is 2 years and old and the other is 4. He has been great with them!
He is currently 4 years old with all of his shots and neutered. He will be the perfect addition to a family, or even a college student looking for a companion. I think he will thrive regardless of if he is on a farm or in an apartment.
