My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you a fan of sriracha? Have you developed a fondness for spicy margaritas? Well then Tiger Lily is your kind of cat! Lovely Tiger Lily is a black and white beauty, with a loving heart, and more than a dash of spice. She loves her people. She loves other playful (but not dominant) young cats. She loves to climb, to play, to boldly (try to) go where no cat has gone before. When she’s done playing and exploring, she’ll happily cuddle up with you for a nice nap. But wrapped up in that beautiful, playful bundle of kittycat is a bit of a spice girl always at the ready. Tiger Lily tends to swat when she is overstimulated, and she objects to being bossed around. She wants events to unfold on her terms. As she becomes comfortable with the people and other cats in her orbit, she will relax, and show you her sweet and loving side. She does not lack confidence in her ability to handle a situation! She is a curious and inquisitive explorer, and she loves to seek out high places, the better to rule her world. Tiger Lily has been known to dart out doors in her longing to see the world, so it’s necessary to keep a watchful eye on her around doors and windows. She is frightened by loud noises and will seek cover. Vacuum cleaners, barking dogs, slamming doors, those are the types of things that will temporarily cause her to look for a safe hiding spot.

Tiger Lily would do best in a home without young children. She enjoys the company of other playful young cats, and she might be okay with having a dog friend as long as they’re friendly and mellow.  Tiger Lily wants to be the spice of your life, warm your heart, and bring her adventurous self to join your family. If you’re looking for a fun feline friend to keep you on your toes and give you lots of love, Tiger Lily might just be the girl for you.

Tiger Lily has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet Tiger Lily in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 days for a possible meet and greet. The $145 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1. ID#2301-C0027

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters are required to complete our application and contract. Our contract stipulates the requirements for care of our pets. These documents are available through e-mail or at our adoption events. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the dog or cat can go home. Adoption fee varies with age of pet.
All pets are current on vaccinations, health checked by our veterinarian, De-wormed, treated with flea medication, spayed or neutered, and cats are felv/fiv tested.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to provide care and find loving homes for cats and kittens of our community, with a focus on those with special needs. Currently we only work with Cats. We offer temporary housing in foster homes until they can be placed through our adoption process. We have adoption centers within both Petsmarts in Eugene, at Chad Drive, near Costco, and 29th and Willamette; PetCo by Valley River Center and Wags Dog Emporium on Coburg Rd. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network works with humane societies, other animal rescue groups, the public and government animal services agencies to offer them relief from their overpopulation problem. All cats in our custody receive the medical care they need. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network is a non-profit organization. All money raised is used to help Cat Rescue & Adoption Network save as many animal lives as possible.
