My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Milo is Adopted

Milo is a courtesy post, and is not currently in our foster care program.

“Hi, my name is Milo and I live in Spring Grove PA right now. I’m a 2 year old somewhat shy but sweet guy who is looking for a kinda quiet home where I can cuddle up on the couch with my people, cuz it’s my most favorite thing to do!
I’d prefer a home with no young children please because their fast unpredictable movements kind of scare me and make me a bit nervous.
It takes me a little while to trust, but once I know you I’ll be your little shadow and follow you everywhere.
I’m not much for riding in the car, but I will go with you because I just want to be close to you.
I’m not sure about other doggies, but I live with 4 kitties and they’re ok.. well ok I’ll be honest, I really like them… shhh don’t tell the other doggies ;)
I do like to go for walks and did I mention I like to cuddle on the couch? Yep, I’m a cuddle-bug and the way I see it, your lap is my lap so what do you think… can I come live with you and cuddle on your couch with you full-time?”

Milo is a very handsome, sweet, sensitive and gentle little soul who only wants to be close to you. Quick or sudden movements may startle him so he will do best in a slow paced environment without young children or people who live a busy lifestyle.
He does have separation anxiety therefore his ideal home would be with someone with a low-key lifestyle and preferably works from home or an older couple who are home most of the time and are looking for a wonderful companion.

He is housetrained but does not do well in a crate and because of his separation anxiety may have an accident in the house so confining him to a smaller area is suggested.
He prefers to sleep the night in a doggie bed in his person’s bedroom and does very well this way.
He is quite obedient and stays close by in the yard and walks well on a leash. He will play fetch with a tennis ball occasionally if it’s not too hot out and he’s in the mood.
Because of his shyness he does better if strangers do not approach him first, instead allow Milo to go to them when he feels ready or comforable whether at home or out in public.
But his favorite thing to do is stay close to you and he’s always ready to play couch potato and cuddle up with you while you read or catch up on your favorite tv shows.

"If you are kind, loving and patient and looking for a loyal companion, this could be just the little guy you are looking for.
He is a healthy boy, is up-to-date on all his vaccines, is heartworm negative and is neutered.
