My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ari is a three year old Black and Tan Coonhound being fostered in Colorado. He is incredibly smart and it took me only 10 minutes to teach him to shake paws! He is very observant and alert of all his surroundings and would likely make a good watchdog. I rescued him from a county shelter and he was very shy and afraid of strangers. He has come a long way and is now more confident in a variety of situations.

Ari is guaranteed to make you laugh every single day! Because he is so smart he observes everything and knows exactly what is going on. He will make a beautiful "Ahrooooooo" to let you know if things are out of sorts! His voice is a lovely deep bay! He loves to sing the song of his people when getting to do something fun. He is not in any way a nuisance barker though.

Ari is an excellent trail dog. He loves mountain biking and hiking excursions and is beautiful to watch on the trail, be it summer, spring or in the snow!
At home he's mellow, sleeps quietly. Currently in training.
