Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cairo came to us late 2022 in terrible condition. We thought we were picking up an 8 year old senior from the animal shelter but we realized quickly that he was a severely neglected youngster, only 2-3 years old. He had demodex mange, secondary infections and he was severely underweight. It took us some time to get healthy weight on him and take care of his mange but Cairo is looking (and feeling) much better now. He is a fairly calm youngster, easy on leash and gentle. He can sometimes be a little reserved though so he'll need a little patience and people that will show him all the love he was missing before. He is good with other dogs but sometimes feels confronted/threatened by other males so he may be selective with larger male dogs (even though some of his best friends are males). He has also done fairly well around a cat but we think further training would be required for him to be more trustworthy if living with a cat.
