My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

** kidney stones **

My friends and I were a transplant from another rescue in Mississauga that was shutting down. I was one of the last ones found as I managed to wiggle my way into the rafters into the basement. I am an extremely timid boy who was very very very apprehensive of people. I still am sometimes. I’m very skittish when it comes to loud noises and sudden movements. With lots and lots of patience, I’ll gradually show you what a sweet boy I can be. Once I’m comfortable with you, I’m happy to approach you with my tail up and give you headbutts for affection. If I’m in an especially good mood, I’ll roll over for belly rubs! I love lounging in high places like high cat trees and in windows as that’s where I feel safe. I also enjoy playing with toys, and I love my treats and catnip! I am quite healthy for my age, and recovered nicely from my dental surgery where I had some teeth extracted. I do have kidney stones, so ideally should remain on a prescription urinary diet long term to manage them. I get along great with other cats, but would do well in a home by myself as long as my future family is willing to be very patient and understanding with me.Applications are reviewed in order received until an appropriate match is made.

More about this rescue

We take in cats that are abandoned or born in colonies that animal control for the area does not wish to accept or keep. We also take cats that other rescues cannot place (due to location, age, colour, or quantity). We will take owner surrenders if other options are unwilling to take. In short, we take in cats that have few to no other options.
